Cossack family name as the subject of geopolitical studies

Each of the national-ethnic community has its peculiar way of forming personal names. Learning of the anthroponymic panorama gives the scientists the foundation for a variety of conclusions, including geopolitical. This approach is particularly valuable in relation to anthroponyms of people living in border regions. These include the Russian Cossacks.

Fine art as a formative factor in the education and preservation of national traditions of the Cossacks

The article is devoted to the problem of preservation of traditions in contemporary art education. Analyzes the meta-logic approaches and opportunities for developing arts education resources of the national artistic culture. Theory and practice of national policy in the Russian army

Until 1917, the term “foreigners” (“people of foreign race”) had been used in order to refer to a certain part of the inhabitants of Russia who were citizens of the Russian Empire. A special management order characterized by referring to their origin was applied to those people, which meant that they were not under the influence of all existing laws including the laws of military construction. Due to a number of reasons, this issue is a part of the least-studied section of the military history of Russian statehood: the role of the national factor in the military construction.

The role of the Siberian cossacks in the development of new lands

Modernization processes taking place in Russia today require special attention to the development of socio-cultural relations between different social groups in society. Cossacks in recent years occupies an important place in the relations between the authorities and society. Siberian cossacks for centuries was a stronghold of the Russian state on the eastern borders of the country.
