Revival of the Cossacks in the new social conditions: diversity of approaches

The article deals with modern problems of the revival of the Cossacks. The need for a systematic approach to this problem is stressed, taking into account the historical and ethnic originality of the Cossacks as a sub-ethnos. Legal and organizational measures for the implementation of the national program for the revival of the Cossacks are analyzed.

The energy of the Cossack marches

Music can mobilize the deepest feelings of a person in difficult moments, unite people in a single impulse. Since ancient times, this role has played military music, the main genre of which were marches. They were known already in the ancient period. And for a long time this music has retained its functions, among which was the task of raising people into battle. The Cossacks, which were in the midst of the Fatherland's history, with their valor and blood fortified the Russian state, can be proud of their own march tradition.

The local system of exchange and exchange-tribute relations in central Carolinian atolls

At the Central Carolinian atolls (Micronesia), historically part of the sphere of influence of the Yapese district of Gagil, formed the exchange and exchange-danical systems, reflecting the features of socio-economic and cultural development of local societies. An important role in the peculiarities of their formation and functioning was played by the natural-geographical factor.

Military-technical propaganda in the Red Army in the 1930s

The article is devoted to military and technical propaganda in the units and subdivisions of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army, in the 1930s. On the basis of unpublished archival sources, the work carried out by the army cultural and educational services in this direction was analyzed. The activity of clubs, Lenin's corners (rooms), Houses of the Red Army has been examined in detail, certain difficulties have been revealed. The Red Army was achieved with success, which influenced the level of combat readiness, despite the presence of obvious shortcomings. At the same time, it is underlined that since 1937, in connection with the appearance of repressions against the room-mix, the increase in the Red Army's strength, this level has sharply decreased. The conclusion says that the experience of working in the army, including in days: for example, on the basis of the House of Officers, officers' clubs and clubs of the Russian Army's military units, military technical exhibitions, military technical films, etc. are regularly organized.

Falsification of historical facts of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945: socio-political aspect

The article touches on the problems of the falsification of the facts and events of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945and the results revision of the Second World War. The aim of the article is to analyse the public opinion on the necessity to establish legal liability for the deliberate distortion of history. A special attention is paid to the importance of the mass media in the process of shaping public perception of the World War II history. The comprehensive analysis of the studies, pursued by the leading national and foreign sociological organisations, indicates the essence and distinctive features of the historical memory in Europe and Russia. The authors come to the conclusion that in the Russian society there is the public interest in counteracting the history falsification as well as the public understanding of the dominant role the bodies of state power and administration in this area.

The study of the Black Hundreds in modern Russian historical science: a critical approach and a new mythology

The article analyzes post-Soviet historiography of the right-monarchist movement in the Russian Empire at the beginning of the 20th century. It is concluded that Russian historical science has moved to a qualitatively new level in the study of the issue in comparison with the Soviet period. As a result, to date, Black Hundredness has found wide coverage in the scientific literature, but, nevertheless, the conceptualization of the topic has not yet been completed.

Politics of the CPSU (B.) Concerning the peasantry during the period of the curtailment of the NEP (1928-1929)

The content of the repressive policy of the CPSU (B.) Regarding the peasantry, including the Cossacks, in Siberia is considered. The analysis of the tightening of the policy of grain procurement, as well as the internal party struggle on this issue, has been carried out. A partial return to "military communism" is shown as a result of the failure of state purchases of grain.

Development of control and supervisory activities in the field of education in the post-soviet period: historical and legal aspect

The Article is devoted to the analysis of the development of control and Supervisory activities in the post-Soviet period. On the basis of key documents, the author considers the key stages of its formation, reveals the specific features of a period. An important conclusion is made that until the early 2000s, the system of control and supervision in the field of education in the Russian Federation was very poorly developed, which affected the overall educational picture in the state. Major changes began in 2004, when Russia joined the Bologna process, and the country was a specialized Executive body to exercise control and supervision. Today we can say that a full-fledged system of control and supervision has been created, which, however, needs further development and improvement.

Cossacks: the gender component of history and political culture

The article reveals the Russian specificity of the national personification associated with the image of Motherland. Differences of this image from similar personified symbols of other states are shown, the reason of saturation of this image with the characteristics inherent in women, and also that they are supplemented with typically masculine qualities is explained. Examples are given of why the Cossacks became the real embodiment of this image.
