Government policy in relation to the Russian Cossacks: Cossack ranks
Russian Cossacks, at the present stage of its development, has formed a need to improve legislation in the sphere of public service members of the Cossack societies listed in the state register of companies in the Russian Federation. One of the basic points in favor of the Cossack ranks alignment with military ranks, giving them the status of class ranks of the civil service.

Information transparency as a form of social processes of modernization
Trust is a special mechanism to ensure social order and sustained interaction between the actors in the political, economic, legal and social spheres. Significant role trust plays in the structure of the institutional and interpersonal relations in the military environment. In addition, political changes in society aimed at improving the effectiveness and legitimacy of the government, is impossible without the participation of the population. In this connection there is a need for increased attention to transparency, openness, availability of power on the part of civilian control.
This article looks at the key moments of the formation transporentnostnyh foundations of public authorities in the context of raising the level of confidence of citizens, as well as the work of news agencies. Presents the main aspects of information transparency for the public good.

The concept «brand-man»: structure and development
Due to the growth of the role of using brands in the commercial field, there is an active extension of spheres of their application outside the commercial organizations. Brands are beginning to be used by administrative agencies, territorial units and regions, social movements, as well as public entities. This fact makes it necessary to substantiate the theoretical characteristics of the formation and use of brands in specific fields and promotes the emergence of scientific and practical research in the formation and management of personal branding.

Cossack self-government – a positive experience of consensus Center and Regions
The article provides an analysis of the effectiveness of the historical traditions of the Cossack self-government in today’s modernization of public administration. It emphasizes the need to appeal to the historical past in order to achieve a civil consensus.
The historical experience of the Cossack self-government is an example of effective interaction between different levels of social institutions ranging from the supreme power and ending with the primary organs of the Cossack community.

Students of Ust-Medveditsa District of the Don Cossacks in the social movement of the second half of XIX-early XX century
The article is devoted to forms of participation of pupils in Ust-Medveditsa District of the Don Cossacks in the public life in the second half of XIX-early XX century. On the basis of the archival documents and periodical press analyzed the situation in secondary schools in the District, features the spread of revolutionary ideas among students. It is concluded that changed the views of the Cossack society to the education system at the beginning of the XX century.
