Digital didactics in HR professional training
This article focuses on the role of digital didactics as a methodology for integrating digital technologies into educational processes, particularly valuable for preparing HR professionals for data-driven personnel management. Digital didactics serves as a key tool for automating learning through LMS, ATS, HRM systems, Power BI, and Python, facilitating the development of analytical skills (KPI, ROI, A/B testing) and adaptation to EdTech solutions such as CleverStaff, PeopleForce, and Mirapolis. The connection between digital didactics and engineering pedagogy is highlighted: a gap is noted between theoretical models (Training Objective Taxonomy, Backward Design) and practical HR-tech implementations, where engineering pedagogy is weakly integrated into learning automation. Challenges related to data security in HR-IT systems (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire) are also being raised, particularly in the context of COVID-19 and regulations (Federal Law No. 152), with risks of leaks in ATS and LMS. The article analyzes Russian practices and research, suggesting ways to strengthen digital didactics for sustainable HR training.
Key words: education, digital technologies, digital didactics, learning objectives and content, engineering pedagogy, personnel security.

Regulatory support for the activities of educational organizations as a historical and pedagogical problem
The regulatory framework governing educational institutions is highly complex and, at the same time, a constantly evolving and changing sphere of social relations. Currently, educational institutions are governed by a vast number of legal acts, including federal laws, laws of constituent entities, acts of municipalities, and by-laws and local regulations. Clearly, such a complex system of legal regulation could not have emerged overnight; it has undergone a long evolutionary development, changing under the influence of general trends in the development of the Russian state and law. Research on domestic educational law, as well as domestic legislation in general, has undergone a long historical development, beginning with the first attempts by scholars to examine the origins of educational legislation, undertaken in the pre-revolutionary period, and culminating in modern comprehensive studies addressing a vast range of issues related to the history of Russian education. It is concluded that the evolution of the regulatory framework governing educational institutions and the legal regulation of the entire educational system plays a particularly important role in developing a holistic understanding of the specifics of modern public policy in the field of education.

Transformation of the military training model in a civilian university: modern challenges and reform vectors
The article examines the systemic limitations and contradictions inherent in the current model of military education implemented in civilian higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation. The authors argue that the traditional format, focused primarily on the mass training of reserve officers in narrow military specialty codes, is ceasing to meet the complex challenges of national security, technological trends, and students' individual educational trajectories. Based on the analysis of the regulatory framework, sociological survey data, and a comparative analysis of historical and modern practices, the thesis about the need for a paradigm shift is proven. The core of the proposed reform is the transition from an isolated "military training" to an integrated "system for forming competencies in the field of defense and security." The key vectors of transformation are identified as: 1) diversification of educational programs (reserve officers, career officers, specialists for the defense industry, military analysts); 2) deep substantive and organizational integration of the military component into the main educational programs and scientific research of the university; 3) technological modernization of the educational process based on simulation modeling and digital ranges; 4) the formation of a holistic educational environment that synthesizes the values of patriotism, civic responsibility, and professional ethics. The result of the implementation of the proposed concept should be the transformation of a civilian university into a key element of the ecosystem for training highly qualified personnel for the defense and security needs of the state.

Life after the feat: psychological transformations of the generation of victors
This article analyzes the socio-psychological transformations in Soviet society in the post-war period (1945–1953). It reveals the paradox between the USSR's triumph as a victorious power and the acute internal tensions caused by the devastation, the need for grueling reconstruction, and the food crisis of 1946–1947.
Particular attention is paid to the problems of veterans who, despite their status as "victorious heroes," faced catastrophic material conditions, employment difficulties, and the inefficiency of the Soviet bureaucracy. The crisis of demographic imbalance and the double burden for women are discussed, as well as the problems of "children of war."
The personal and psychological consequences of the war are explored, including the manifestations of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the factors that contribute to its development.
The article describes a socio-psychological portrait of a post-war Soviet person, characterized by the phenomenon of double consciousness – the separation of a critical internal reality and an external ideologically correct expression, which ensured adaptation, but led to emotional exhaustion.
Key words: post-war period, socio-psychological transformations, post-traumatic stress disorder, generation of victors, adaptation of veterans, demographic consequences of the war, Soviet society, psychological trauma, double consciousness, post-war recovery.

Modeling first aid skills to victims of the use of weapons of mass destruction
The objective is to study the feasibility of simulating first aid for victims exposed to weapons of mass destruction. The goal of first aid is to maintain the victim's vital functions until medical assistance arrives. Therefore, first aid is not a cure, but a maintenance of functions. Practical skills and abilities are developed based on theoretical knowledge, through the completion of tasks and exercises. The development of first aid skills and abilities can occur in various ways. The teacher's responsibility includes constant monitoring of students' actions, aimed at correcting them and rectifying errors. Pair and group lessons are effective. When studying this section, the classroom must be fully equipped. First aid, regardless of the type of weapon of mass destruction, encompasses a range of the most basic medical measures that must be performed directly at or near the site of impact. The choice of teaching methods is extremely important; this is one of the primary responsibilities of the teacher. Transformation of ideas about the picture of the world in linguistics and anthropology
The picture of the world represents the result of the human cognitive activity. The organization of human livelihood is based on adequate awareness of contemporary reality. The holistic perception of the world is an objective necessity which the human has been historically in need of. But with growth of knowledge about the nature and the society the task is becoming increasingly complicated.
It is common knowledge that the picture of the world has transformed significantly for the contemporary human as compared to the previous epoch.
Despite a large number of factors, distorting the real picture of the world, every human is convinced that the world is exactly the same as in is captured in the consciousness. However, the picture of the world is static and unalted in the human consciousness. Throughout the life the gained cognitive experience continues to accumulate and influence the picture if the world. The process of constant changes in the picture of the world is also being influenced by such a phenomenon as awareness of own “I”, place in life, role in the society. The influence of such subjective factors allows to speak about the picture of the world as an individual category, more than a global one.

The effect of regular physical activity on cognitive functions and mood
Introduction. In today's society, characterized by high levels of stress and sedentary lifestyles, non-pharmacological methods for improving cognitive functions and psychoemotional state are becoming increasingly relevant. Regular physical activity is considered as one of the key factors contributing to the optimization of brain function and the promotion of mental health.
Purpose of the study. Studying the effects of regular physical activity on cognitive functions (memory, attention, and executive functions) and mood indicators (depression, anxiety, and subjective well-being).
Material and methods. The analysis of modern domestic and foreign scientific publications devoted to the study of the relationship between physical exertion and the state of the mental sphere was carried out. Longitudinal, cross-sectional and meta-analytical studies were considered, which used methods of neurocognitive testing, electroencephalography (EEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), as well as standardized psychometric questionnaires.
Research results and their discussion. It has been established that systematic physical activity, especially aerobic, contributes to the improvement of memory, concentration, information processing speed and flexibility of thinking. The neurobiological mechanisms of this effect are associated with the enhancement of neuroplasticity, stimulation of neurogenesis in the hippocampus and increase in the level of neurotrophic factors (e.g. BDNF). In the emotional sphere, there is a steady decrease in symptoms of depression and anxiety, an increase in stress resistance, and an overall increase in positive affect, which is due to the modulation of neurotransmitter systems (serotonin, norepinephrine, and endorphins).
Conclusions. Regular physical activity is a powerful non-pharmacological tool for enhancing cognitive functions and improving mood. Integrating systematic exercise into lifestyle can be recommended as an effective strategy for maintaining mental health, increasing productivity, and improving overall quality of life.
Key words: physical activity, cognitive functions, mental health, mood, memory, attention, anxiety, depression.

Competencies and graphic training in higher education
The situation in domestic education related to the signing of the Bologna Agreement, more than a decade of stay in it and withdrawal from it, with an at-tempt to "revolutionary" transition to the competence principle of building training as opposed to ZUN, is investigated. The presence of a mixture of terms is shown: skill; qualification; competence. On the example of the analysis of educational programs and professional standards in the engineering field with an emphasis on graphic training, the opinion of a number of specialists is confirmed that the term competence is an excessive construction, in particular in the field of graphic training. It was concluded that, despite the total introduction of a competent approach to education, the widespread dominance of this term, the employer does not have the desired impact on training programs, in particular due to the lack of coordination of professional standards, in which there is no concept of "cometence," with educational programs. Demonstrated the connection of knowledge, skills and skills presented in the qualification sections of professional standards with the educational program used by the authors.

Activities of the 369th Croatian infantry regiment in the USSR during the years of the Great Patriotic War
The article deals with the activity of the 369th Croatian Infantry Regiment on the territory of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). The 369th Croatian Infantry Regiment also known as the “Croatian Legion” was part of the 100th Light Infantry Division of the Wehrmacht. The article reveals the issue of the formation of the “Croatian Legion”, the relationship between the Croats and the Germans, as well as the activities of the Croats in the Battle of Stalingrad (July 17, 1942 - February 2, 1943).
The relevance of the study is justified by the fact that the study of the activities of the “Croatian Legion” on the territory of the USSR allows us to understand the shaping of ideology among the Croatian population during the Second World War. The Ustaše ideology is a product of the established hegemony of the Third Reich on the territory of Europe - a puppet state formation was created in the case of the Independent State of Croatia. Analysis of the activities of the 369th Croatian infantry regiment allows to trace the extent of the foreign contingent’s involvement on the side of the Wehrmacht and their position in the ranks of the German troops.
Key words: Stalingrad, Croatian Legion, USSR, Great Patriotic War.

Alternative international sports formats as a tool of Russian sports diplomacy in the context of politicization of international sports
The article is devoted to the analysis of the politicization of international sports and its impact on the participation of the Russian Federation in global sports competitions in the period 2015-2025. The key events that led to the restriction of the participation of Russian athletes in the Olympic Games and World Championships, including the decisions of the IOC, WADA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport, are considered. It is shown that the applied sanctions measures are selective and politically motivated, which contradicts the principles of the Olympic Charter and undermines confidence in international sports institutions. Special attention is paid to the development of alternative international sports formats initiated by Russia: The Friendship Games, the BRICS Games, the CIS Games, the "Games of the Future", as well as the planned SCO Games. Their goals, organizational features and importance for strengthening sports diplomacy in conditions of limited participation in Western sports structures are analyzed. The conclusion is drawn about the formation of a new multipolar model of sports interaction based on the principles of depoliticization, equality and expansion of international partnerships.
Key words: Russia, politicization of sports, international sanctions, sports diplomacy, Olympic movement, multipolarity, BRICS.

League of Arab States (LAS) in the context of climate change: energy - related climate perspective
Notwithstanding that the total GHG emissions from the 22 Arab countries account for a negligible portion of total world emissions, the Arab region is facing serious geopolitical security predicament. This awkward situation originates from twin threats: the harmful effects of climate change on the one hand (water scarcity, food insecurity and increased transboundary-conflict potential,…) and the adverse effects of climate response measures on the other (energy transition, phasing out fossil fuels, fiscal and non-fiscal market barriers, unilateral restrictive climate-related trade measures). It can be best described as being “between a rock and a hard place”. Applying a defensive neorealist theoretical lens, this article contends that the climate-damaging impacts and the non-gradual, unsupported transitioning away from fossil fuels poses an existential threat to the Arab states–particularly petroleum exporting countries–by negatively affecting the financial returns for these countries, and most likely would create a state of economic dilemma and social disorder resulting from the collapse of the rentier systems and, eventually, the national security. Therefore, cooperative regional Arab climate action is crucial and imperative via the League of Arab States (LAS) mechanism : the Arab group, which represents the negative defensive approach. This strategy encompasses negative balancing, which involves diplomatic and institutional efforts so as to confront and undermine the proposed policies and measures made by counter-coalitions that endanger the Group’s securities within the international climate change process. Such diplomatic strategy is founded on the core principles of the Climate Convention and related legal instruments, including Equity and Common But Differentiated Responsibilities and Respective Capabilities (CBDR-RCs), the provision of Means of Implementation (MOI) (capacity-building, funding and technology transfer), and the sovereign right to achieve sustainable development (SD). In addition to their regional cooperation via the Arab Group, the study concludes by promoting a dual-track geopolitical strategy whereby LAS members, in particular petroleum countries, should expand globally by forging trans-regional alliances with other major hydrocarbon stakeholders to both alleviate climate change and collectively manage the “Just Transition” while safeguarding national interests.
Key words: climate change, league of Arab states, Arab petroleum countries, fossil fuels, hydrocarbons, energy transition.

Political transitions in Algeria after independence: a historical study of the reign of Ahmed Ben Bella (1962-1965)
The post-independence period in Algeria, particularly the period from 1962 to 1965 under President Ahmed Ben Bella, is considered one of the most dynamic and complex periods in the history of the modern Algerian state. During this period, attempts were made to lay the foundations for nascent state institutions, and the transition from armed revolution to the establishment of a sovereign state was a complex process marked by internal ideological and political conflicts and governance crises.
This study focuses on the key political developments in Algeria during the presidency of Ahmed Ben Bella. The work highlights the major events and facts that characterized this period (1962–1965) on the political stage, while also attempting to shed light on the actual state of Algeria and the significant political changes that took place during this time.
Key words: Ahmed Ben Bella, political development, rule, conflict, power.

Eastern adygs: evolution from a tribe to a corporation - terminological aspect
The article examines the issues of historical development of the political culture of the eastern Adyghe people at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. Within the framework of the article, using the method of etymological analysis of the terminology of the socio-political organization of Kabarda in terms of the Wark class, terms conceptualized within the framework of the linguistic resources of the Adyghe language, as well as foreign terms, are identified. An analysis of the resulting groups of terminology is given for their origin, as well as their original functional purpose. Based on the analysis, a model is given for the development of the terminological system of the military-political class of Kabarda in connection with the cultural and socio-political factors that determined the transition from self-understanding in terms of a tribal organization, consolidated on the basis of patrimonial surety, to a corporate organization, consolidated on the basis of the idea of military service in exchange for patronage.

The first Liberian civil war: its causes and consequences for West Africa
This article examines the key causes of the Liberian civil war and its consequences, which affected more than just the country itself. This conflict proved one of the most devastating in the history of West African countries. Liberia experienced political and armed struggles for power, interethnic strife, widespread plunder, mass deaths, and the displacement of the population. It also examines the role of military and political forces led by such prominent figures as Samuel Doe and Charles Taylor, international organizations such as ECOWAS and the UN, and external actors such as the United States, Libya, Nigeria, and others in fueling and attempting to resolve the conflict. A clear example of the construction of a "war economy" and its devastating consequences for the future of Liberia is provided.
Key words: Liberia, Samuel Doe, Charles Taylor, war, war economy, ECOWAS, ECOMOG, West Africa.

The development of the Oirats in the Pre-Mongol period
This article summarizes the etymology and analysis of the term "Oirats" and examines how this small tribe joined Genghis Khan's camp prior to the establishment of the Yuan dynasty. Particular attention is paid to three key hypotheses concerning the origin of the ethnonym "Oirats": its interpretation as meaning "allies," the connection of the Oirats to the so-called "forest peoples," and the influence of Turkic languages. The article also explores the role of the Oirats in intertribal conflicts before the rise of Genghis Khan. The analysis reveals that, prior to the emergence of the Mongol Empire, the Oirats were long-time adversaries of Temujin and repeatedly suffered significant defeats in armed conflicts with his supporters. However, after their surrender and switch to Mongol service, the Oirat tribes not only preserved their ethnic identity but also significantly enhanced their political status through methods such as military support and marital alliances with members of the "Golden Lineage".
Key words: Oirats, Mongolia, Jadaran, Merkit, Temujin, Wang Khan, Khudukha-beki, forest people, Jochi, Jamukha.

Water diplomacy: cooperation and conflict in transboundary river basins of the middle east
Relevance. Water scarcity is a key challenge to sustainable development and a factor of geopolitical instability, most acute in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, where acute resource shortages are exacerbated by their transboundary nature.
Aim. To analyze the dialectics of conflict and cooperation in the management of key transboundary water basins in the Middle East (Jordan, Tigris and Euphrates, Nile) and assess the potential of water diplomacy to mitigate the effects of the crisis.
Scientific novelty. The article provides a comprehensive comparative analysis of three critical river basins, identifying not only traditional drivers of conflict but also evolving pragmatic forms of interaction that develop despite deep political confrontation.
Materials and methods. The study is based on case analysis using historical-political and comparative analysis methods, as well as a review of international legal documents and agreements. Data from official reports, academic publications, and negotiation process materials are used.
Results. It is revealed that water diplomacy in the region develops nonlinearly, in a state of constant dialectical tension between confrontation and pragmatic cooperation. The historically established hydropolitics, based on control over headwaters, faces new challenges: climate change, demographic pressure, and internal conflicts. In response, a new, adaptive diplomacy is being formed, based on technological innovations (desalination, recycling), multi-level dialogue formats, the water-energy-food nexus approach, and informal expert networks. The future of water security is linked not to the achievement of comprehensive political agreements, but to the building of a "mosaic" of mutually beneficial technical and infrastructural solutions.
Key words: hydropolitics, transboundary water basins, water scarcity, Middle East, water diplomacy, international water law, climate change, water-energy-food nexus, MENA, cooperation.

The effectiveness of Vietnam's cultural soft power instruments in relations with China in the context of the "Renewal" (Doi Moi) policy after 1991
The article analyzes the effectiveness of Vietnam’s cultural soft power tools in its relations with the People’s Republic of China following the normalization of bilateral relations in 1991. This analysis is conducted in the context of the “Doi Moi” (Renovation) policy, which has been implemented since 1986. Particular attention is given to educational and academic exchanges, cultural diplomacy, and people-to-people contacts. The study also examines the use of historical and cultural heritage and Confucian traditions, the development of cultural tourism, and cultural communications and media. The methodological foundation of the study includes Joseph Nye’s theory of soft power, as well as the analysis of official documents, statistical data, and materials from Vietnamese state agencies for the period 1991–2025. The findings show that cultural tools contribute to strengthening mutual understanding between peoples and enhancing Vietnam’s international image. At the same time, their effectiveness is limited by the asymmetry of bilateral relations, resource constraints, and the influence of the regional political and security situation. The study highlights the need for developing a long-term strategy to strengthen Vietnam’s cultural soft power.
Key words: soft power, cultural diplomacy, Vietnam-China, Doi Moi Renewal Policy, cultural exchanges, educational cooperation, cultural tourism, media and publishing, historical and cultural heritage, policy effectiveness.

Exploring the hidden world of human trafficking in nigeria: a comprehensive analysis
Human trafficking, including forced sex and forced labor, affects young people around the world. It remains a significant issue in Nigeria, serving as a country of origin, transit, and destination for victims. Factors contributing to trafficking include poverty, unemployment, gender inequality, and weak border control. Victims, predominantly young girls, are often lured with false promises of employment and are subjected to various forms of exploitation, including sexual abuse and forced labor. This exploitation exposes victims to health risks, including HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. While Nigeria has implemented policies and programs to combat human trafficking, the problem persists due to weak institutions and inadequate enforcement. Addressing this issue requires a multifaceted approach, including strengthening legislation, improving law enforcement, creating public awareness, and addressing underlying socio-economic factors.
Key words: human trafficking, modern slavery, sexual abuse, child labor, migration, abject poverty.

Changes in the status of priests and their family members in the first quarter of the 20th century in Russia (using the example of members of the Zolotaviny family of hereditary priests)
Relevance and Objectives. Interest in the repressions against the peoples of the former Russian Empire and the persecution of the Russian Orthodox Church is growing again. The events of the 1920s and 1930s require special attention, as the authorities ruthlessly suppressed any protest against the new atheistic order.
Many archival materials remain poorly studied, making it difficult to fully understand those tragic events.
This article analyzes the fates of individual priests, which illustrate the scale of public suffering. The tragedy is heightened by the fact that not only individuals but entire family dynasties were destroyed.
Materials and Methods. The study was conducted using materials from the collections of the United State Archives of the Chelyabinsk Region, the State Archives in Shadrinsk, the Documentation Center for Public Organizations of the Sverdlovsk Region, documents from the Yekaterinburg Diocesan Gazette, and other archives. Historical-biographical and historical-diachronic methods were used.
Results. An analysis of several documents related to the life of the Zolotavin family was conducted. They revealed new information about key events and stages in their biography. These materials helped clarify previously unknown details of the family's history.
Conclusions. The analysis of materials reflecting the events of that difficult era reveals the inevitability of the complete destruction of the Church as a structure. In this regard, the various approaches of members of the clergy family (in this case, the Zolotavins) to integrating into the new organized system of social relations are noted.
Key words: repression, Zolotavins, priests, historical-biographical method, transformation, change, situation.
