The potential of project activity in the formation of educational motivation in physical education lessons

The article considers project activity as a mechanism that increases students' learning motivation through a combination of theoretical and practical aspects, a combination of intellectual and physical components of the educational process, as well as participation in various forms of cognitive and playful activities. The formation of motivation for learning, as well as the manifestation of initiative, suggest that students can implement their ideas and develop their own projects. This creates the basis for a sustained interest in learning and significant improvement in outcomes. Project activities in physical education lessons are an integral part of the modern educational process. The main aspect of the project method is its ability not only to reform the traditional structure of knowledge acquisition, but to draw a line between passiv assimilation og information and active, proactive participation in learning processes. The complexity of this apporoach contributes to the full disclosure of students' creative and personal potentials, preparing them for possible life problems and professional challenges. Of particular importance is the use of the project format in physical education classes, where the practice of organizing sports events, developing strategies for the training process and analyzing theam dynamics have a positive impact not only on physical development, but also on the formation of key social and professional qualities.

Dynamic Educational System of Seneca in the De Beneficiis: The Dialectic of Logic and Practice

Seneca’s commentators have long criticized this Roman thinker, who paid special attention to the problems of moral education, for the chaotic structure of his works. However, already in the 20th century, researchers, based on an in-depth analysis of the philosopher's texts, revealed their inherent systematicity. Analyzing Seneca’s treatise On Benefits (De Beneficiis, Lat.), we find that Stoic ethics is transformed here into a dynamic educational strategy. The essence of this strategy is a step-by-step, dialogical influence on the student, carried out through the authority of a wise mentor. Аt the first stage, the theoretical provisions of the principles of Stoic ethics are conveyed to the educated (an adult, but young and still socializing person). At the next stage, specific situations of moral choice are considered. The central concept here is “beneficence” as a multi-faceted phenomenon based on empathy, the need to do good deeds. Combining the individualizing method, linguistic strategies, and rhetorical devices, Seneca develops a spiral cognitive path – from behavioral norms to the internalization of values. This strategy not only inherits the dialectical tradition of Aristotle–Panaetius, but also reflects the key turn of Roman Stoicism from theoretical debates to moral practice, offering a dynamic paradigm that retains its pedagogical potential to this day.
Key words: Seneca, Stoicism, moral education, morality, ethics, pedagogical logic, “beneficence”, mentor, dialogue, historiography.

Rationale for the use of pedagogical approaches when addressing risk management of situations among technical university students

In the current conditions of increasing number of emergency situations, training students of technical universities for effective risk management plays a special role. This is due to the need to respond to potential threats and their consequences. Today, human life is in conditions of man-made threats and natural disasters, so an important task of higher education institutions is to train specialists who are able to effectively manage risks.
The relevance of the problem under study is determined by the need of society and the state for highly qualified specialists to ensure technosphere safety, which today consists of managing the risks of emergency situations. Experts in the field of activity under consideration are trained not only in colleges and academies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, but also in technical universities in Russia. In this connection, there is a need to revise pedagogical approaches accompanied by the educational process. The analysis of available approaches made it possible to identify and justify those that will contribute to the formation of the necessary competence in students.
The conclusions obtained as a result of the study can be used in the development of work programs for disciplines and practices implemented within higher education.
Formation of readiness for emergency risk management is a multifaceted process that requires a systematic approach and integration of knowledge at all stages of training. Students must be prepared not only for theoretical challenges, but also for practical challenges that may arise in their professional activities.
The results of research on the content of professional education and students' readiness for professional activity are reflected in the works of R.M. Asadullin, G.D. Bukharova, V.I. Zagvyazinsky, A.A. Verbitsky, and M.I. Dyachenko. Anumber of modern dissertations by authors (O.V. Kushnareva, A.A. Golovkina, and E.M. Ezerskaya) explore the challenges of developing risk management competence among bachelors in technical fields, which includes the management of emergency risks. However, no theoretical research on pedagogical approaches to developing emergency risk management skills among technical university students has been conducted in the last five years, which highlights the relevance of this article.
Key words: student, technosphere safety, pedagogical approaches, competence, professional and personal qualities.

Józef Piłsudski on Soviet cartoon posters of 1920–1922: constructing the image of the leader of a hostile state

The article examines the formation of the negative image of Józef Piłsudski in Soviet propaganda graphics during and after the Soviet-Polish War. Through the analysis of poster caricatures (1920–1922), the study identifies key strategies of visual demonization of the Polish leader within the ideological struggle. Three aspects are highlighted: (1) the evolution of Piłsudski’s image from a «class enemy» to a «puppet of international imperialism»; (2) the use of visual techniques (caricature distortions, zoomorphic comparisons, iconographic clichés); (3) the correlation between visual representations and contemporary political propaganda narratives.
The research demonstrates how Soviet propaganda crafted a simplified yet emotionally charged enemy image, shaping public perceptions of international relations. The findings contribute to understanding the mechanisms of visual politics in the early Soviet period and the construction of a «hostile state» image amid military-political confrontation.

BRICS as an alternative center of power in the context of transformation of the world order

In the context of intensifying globalization over the past two decades, new fault lines are emerging in the world order, leading not only to a transformation of the global power structure, but also to a revision of the mechanisms of global governance. One of the key factors influencing this process is the growing role of the BRICS association, which seeks to offer an alternative architecture of international relations based on the principles of multipolarity and justice. In this article, the authors examine the ideological and political aspects of the evolution of BRICS, analyze its approaches to international relations and assess the potential of the association as an alternative center of global governance. The main objective of the work is to comprehensively analyze the ideological and political platform of BRICS in the context of the formation of a non-Western model of the world order. The study is based on a comparative analysis of political declarations, economic initiatives and strategic documents of BRICS, which allows us to identify both consolidating and conflict-generating factors in the development of the association. The results of the study can be used to predict the further evolution of BRICS and its impact on the transformation of global governance in the context of increasing competition between traditional and new centers of power.

Stages in the development of relations between Chad and the Russian Federation up to the year 2000

The article examines the stages of development of bilateral relations between Chad and the Russian Federation, as well as the USSR, up to the year 2000. The aim of the study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of diplomatic interaction, humanitarian and educational cooperation, and the factors that have influenced the dynamics of these relations. The research applies historical-genetic and comparative-historical methods, along with the analysis of political context and foreign policy documents. The paper explores in detail the establishment of diplomatic ties, the specifics of cultural and student exchanges, forms of international assistance, and the impact of ideological factors during the Cold War. The author pays special attention to the effects of political instability in Chad, civil wars, Libyan influence, and changes in the international environment, including the dissolution of the USSR and the transformation of Russia’s foreign policy in the 1990s. The analysis shows that relations between Chad and the USSR/Russia were cyclical and largely depended on Chad’s internal situation and global geopolitics. It is concluded that humanitarian and educational cooperation served as an important tool of soft power and contributed to creating a positive image of the Soviet Union and Russia in the African region. The author also suggests viewing the experience of cooperation with Chad as part of Russia’s broader policy in Africa, especially in the context of decolonization and Franco-African relations. The article may be of interest to researchers of international relations, historians, and African studies specialists.

France's special role in resolving the crisis in Côte d'Ivoire in 2002

On September 19, 2002, an armed rebellion attempted to overthrow the Ivorian head of state. France intervened militarily and diplomatically to help resolve the conflict. On January 25, 2003, in Paris, Ivorian President Laurent Gbagbo appointed a new prime minister and agreed, under French auspices, to hand over ministries to members of the rebellion. A few days earlier, France had chaired the Linas-Marcoussis round table, inviting Ivorian political forces to negotiate. The decisions taken by these two parties were aimed at resolving the conflict as quickly as possible. Despite its intentions and military action, France did not make a significant contribution to resolving the conflict.

Economic aspects of BRICS

Since its establishment in 2009, the BRICS association has evolved from a conditional research group into a full-fledged global governance institution with an extensive system of interaction. The article analyzes two key scientific positions regarding the nature of BRICS: the first considers it as a formal association based on macroeconomic indicators, the second - as a promising mechanism of global regulation with the potential for institutionalization. The economic significance of BRICS is confirmed by a number of indicators: the combined growth of the participating countries in 2009-2019 was three times higher than the world average, their share in the world GDP reached 33%, and by 2030 it may reach 37%. In addition, BRICS accounts for 19% of global trade and foreign direct investment. An important aspect of the association's activities is the promotion of the reform of international financial institutions, including the redistribution of quotas in the IMF and the World Bank. Particular attention is paid to the ability of BRICS to demonstrate resilience in times of crisis through balanced monetary policy, public debt control and diversification of economic ties. The creation of the New Development Bank (NDB) and the Contingent Reserve Arrangement (CRAs) is seen as a step towards the formation of an alternative financial architecture independent of traditional institutions. In the article, the authors also examine the challenges associated with digitalization; despite the PartNIR initiative, BRICS does not yet have sufficient influence in the formation of global technological standards. The need to consolidate the positions of the participating countries to strengthen their role in the digital economy is emphasized.
Key words: BRICS, economic aspects, international finance, New Development Bank, global governance, digital economy, polycentric world order.

Analysis of the transformation of the Kalim Institute in the context of the Ingush society: historical-ethnografic aspect

The article analyzes the transformation of the Kalyma in Ingush society in historical retrospect. Various stages of changing this tradition are considered, from the bride price to the premarital gift belonging to the bride herself. Special attention is paid to the influence of social, economic and religious factors on the evolution of Kalyma in the Ingush society.
The Soviet government, as is known, waged an active struggle against the remnants of the past, including with the Kalym, seeing in it the manifestation of inequality and oppression of women. Extensive campaign work was carried out to eradicate this tradition. Legislation restricting or prohibiting the payment of Kalym. However, despite all efforts, it continued to exist in hidden forms, especially in rural areas.
In the Soviet period, Kalym underwent significant changes... Officially, it was banned, but in reality it continued to be practiced under the guise of “gifts” or “help” to a young family. The size of the Kalyma has decreased significantly, but its symbolic value has remained. Kalym ceased to be exclusively a material payment for the bride and acquired the character of a kind of blessing and support for a young family.
In the post-Soviet period, with the revival of religious and national traditions, interest in Kalyma again increased... In some regions, it has come to be seen as an important element of the wedding ceremony, emphasizing respect for the traditions of ancestors. However, modern forms of Kalyma are significantly different from those that existed in the past. The size of the Kalyma is usually determined by mutual consent of the parties and can be symbolic... It is important to note that modern Kalym is perceived as a gift to the bride, ensuring her material independence if necessary.
Key words: Kalym, tradition, Ingush, transformation, premarital fee, purchase fee, bride.

Verbal and non-verbal methods of preserving of the cultural values of the Kuban Cossacks

Modern social relations are developing according to the principle of multipolarity or globalization. The Westernization of consciousness forms the political dominance of some countries over others, creates antagonistic political and economic alliances, leads to tension in relations, and provokes military conflicts. Proponents of globalization identify multipolarity with regionalization, which promotes cultural isolation and separatism. In Russia, the modernization transformations of regional features have become a powerful mobilizing force. The strengthening of the role of regional communities has been reflected in positive changes in national policy. These communities include the Cossacks.
Key words: Cossacks, subethnos, traditions, cultural heritage, folk art.
